Baxter wanted me to pick him up from school Monday because he didn't feel well. I went to the library first and I had never seen this many Amish men standing around talking to each other.
Then as I was leaving this father and son were leaving the Amish market. We pass wagons like this on our road going home on the time but this is the first time I was stopped.
Mary Jo, The Amish and Meninites are scattered all through here. We have two farms just down from us. And if you drive certain roads their farms are all over.

It is one time I saw them smiling. Usually at the grocery store and even at the market they are pretty grime.
Wow! I didn't know you lived that close to an Amish settlement. Is it part of your city, or separated from it? That's cool.
