December 15, 2012 Tina and Lincoln took dad and me to the Sound of Music. This has always been a favorite musical of ours and it was fun to see it acted out on stage. One of our ward members played Sister Sophia and did a marvelous job.
Then last Saturday Tina called to see if Dad and I wanted her White Christmas tickets. She and Lincoln had the flu and couldn't go. Dad was sick so Tina called Trudy and Trudy could go so Trudy and I used Tina's tickets.
Trudy had metro tickets, so we rode the metro and then caught the shuttle over to the Kennedy Center. I didn't realize you couldn't take pictures inside the Opera House until Trudy took a picture and one of the ushers came over and made her take the picture off her camera.
I had already put my camera away. So here are two illegal pictures. This is a favorite Christmas movie of mine. The time just flew by it was so good. Then it was catch the shuttle back to the metro to Suitland and then Trudy drove to Waldorf and we ate at Cafe Rio. A fun day!!!!!!
