Valentine Hearts

I teach the Sunbeams (3yrs) on Sundays.  This month,  Sunday was the day before Valentine's Day.  I usually have about 8 children in my class with time left over from the lesson.  Trudy, being a teacher, had some foam hearts and heart stickers that she asked me if I wanted to use in my primary class. Of course I said yes.  Then Sid, when I was about to print them out suggested that I didn't have to cut them all out just add I and U on each side of the heart. Cool.  I'm glad for all the help I can get.

I did have time left over, so I handed each child their heart and a package of little hearts.  I explained that they could give these to their moms and dads.  Well,  one little boy said, this was his heart and the other children knew who they were giving their heart to, not to mom and dad.

I had made one so they would know what to do.  Man those kids went to town, I had a hard time getting the backs off the foam hearts but these kids didn't. I wish I had taken my camera to take pictures but I forgot and I didn't even have my phone.  One little girl turned her heart over and put all her stickers on the back so she wouldn't ruin the heart.
It was a lot of fun.

Then on Valentines I got a surprise, My honey gave me roses.
Today is Friday and they are still beautiful!!!!!!

I should have given her 4 dozen roses one for each year she has given me.
