Tall Hollyhocks

Grandma Young always had hollyhocks.  I couldn't seem to grow them in Abraham.  Here in Maryland they grow so tall and they are taking over my rose tree.

Grandma's hollyhocks weren't this tall but she had hundreds of them.  I started with two plants last year.  I didn't realize they would take over.   I need to find some brighter colors and plant them somewhere else.

I remember them towering over my head . . . . but wait . . . . I was probably 3 feet tall then!

They are beautiful mom!
