moth

When Grandpa and I went to sleep last night it was still lightning and thundering.

I got up this morning to see the damage and on our screen was this moth. Not only was this on our screen but several different sizes either on the screen or on the house.

Very interesting looking. That was SOME thunderstorm last night wasn't it? Lighting up the sky every 5 seconds. Amazing! Nature always has some interesting shows for us to watch.

Those moths are so pretty. Moths get a bad rap. Who says that they can't be as pretty as a butterfly?

So I've never seen such a beautiful Moth! The only moths I have seen in Utah are those pesky millers! In our new house we would get thousands of them in at night, especially if we left the lights on(and a door open..oops!). I remember EJ used to go around the house each night and swat them with a fly-swatter. She couldn't sleep if there was one alive! hehe But she would leave them dead, stuck to the wall. It was disguisting. Mom and Dad put a stop to that before too long! hehe
Anyway, I know it is begining to sound repetitive (in my posting comments on blogs) but I love this blog! I love blogs in general. It is so fun to see what is going on in everyones lives! You both look like you are doing quite well. I initially thought I wouldn't have much to post about because my life (beyond my travels) is quite drab. But people who I can't see everyday may be interested in what I am doing in my everyday drab life (to an extent anyway). I hope you will find my future posts as fun as I have found your posts so far!
Love,
Becky
